The primary role of a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at JayCare is to provide support to infants and toddlers with feeding and weight gain issues.
The care provided by a pediatric Registered Dietitian Nutritionist is fundamental to maximize a child's health, nutrition and improving their quality of life
The most important years for improving the health in children are ages birth to five. Brain development is most crucial during these years, so a health-delayed child will benefit the most from an early intervention Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at JayCare, you should expect to:
- Follow Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop methodologies for reaching each child's specific nutrition goals.
- Provide various strategies to family members or caregivers and facilitate active involvement to carry-over in day-to-day activity.
- Provide services in different settings such as homes, daycares, centers, or other community settings.
- Ensure that progress is evident and that family members or caregivers are active participants in early intervention through addressing specific goals and communicating with the entire team.
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist
- PA-Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist
- Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills
Pay
$55.00 - $65.00 per hour
JayCare Therapy is currently offering Registered Dietitians' an additional $10 per hour for all bilingual cases.
We will build your caseload according to your areas and times of availability. We are looking for full time, part time, or even just one day a week. We will customize your caseload to meet your geographic and scheduling preferences. We are open to hiring Registered Dietitians' with little or no experience in the field, as we provide comprehensive, hands-on training. This is a wonderful opportunity with room for growth within the organization.
